INVITATION FOR BIDS

Request for Vendor Proposals for Supper and Snack Meal Services

 

Powered by Gratitude is inviting qualified vendors to submit proposals to provide meals for our Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). As a sponsor, we are seeking a reliable vendor to supply approximately 515 supper and PM snack meals daily. The meals must meet all USDA meal pattern requirements for CACFP and comply with USDA procurement policies.

 

Scope of Services:

  • Meal Types: Supper and PM snack meals.

  • Daily Quantity: Approximately 515 meals, delivered daily. With a potential increase within 90 days.

  • Compliance: All meals must meet the USDA CACFP meal pattern requirements.

  • Delivery: Meals must be delivered to various locations as specified in the contract.

 

Contract Term:

The initial contract term will be November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2024.

 

Bid Submission Requirements:

Interested vendors must submit a complete the attached bid proposal with any other pertinent information such as:

 

  • A detailed description of meal preparation, delivery methods, and the ability to comply with USDA meal pattern requirements.

  • Pricing for the estimated meal volume, including breakdowns for supper and PM snack.

  • Proof of required licenses, certifications, and compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations.

  • Evidence of prior experience in providing meals for USDA programs, particularly CACFP (if applicable).

  • A sample menu demonstrating compliance with USDA CACFP meal requirements.

 

Key Dates and Bid Submission Deadline:​

All bids must be submitted before October 10, 2024 by 5:00 PM. Late submissions will not be considered.

 

Bid Evaluation Criteria:

  1. Cost-effectiveness and reasonableness of pricing.

  2. Experience and qualifications of the vendor.

  3. Ability to meet the USDA CACFP meal requirements.

  4. Quality and nutritional value of the proposed meals.

  5. Compliance with USDA procurement regulations.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation.
